September Song . . .
Longer shadows… shorter days… and reflection.
Not too many songs have been written about Autumn. This season confuses the artist. After all, it is an ambivalent interval between the scorching heat and the bitter cold. In our bones we know that it is a time of change and letting go... to something more uncertain. It is a time of harvest, but also a time of withdrawal.
But what has been written is essence. The Hulaville band reflects on this season… The music of Kurt Weill, Joseph Kosma, Vernon Duke and … Neil Young.
Featuring Duane Padilla on violin, Josh Kaye on keyboards, and Sonny Silva on guitar. There will be several special guest artists.
